Effective Medication Administration For Children

We know that giving medication to a child can be hard. Many kids struggle with swallowing pills or capsules, and the taste or texture of some medications can make this task even harder! This can lead to frustration for both parents and children, and may even affect a child’s pediatric treatment plan.

Compounded medications let us create custom medications that are specifically designed for your child’s needs and preferences.

Why Compound Pediatric Medication?

There are a few different dosage forms for pediatric medicine. These dosage forms keep in mind their size, age, and ability to swallow average pills. Here are some reasons we compound pediatric medications:
  • Age-Appropriate Forms: Transform medications into easier-to-swallow liquids.
  • Add Flavor: Flavor medications with kid-friendly options can encourage better acceptance.
  • Adjust Dosages: Ensure your child receives the right dosage for effective treatment.
  • Allergies: We make medications without inactive ingredients that may cause allergic reactions.

  • Acid Reflux & Heartburn

  • Diaper Rash
  • Nipple Ointment (for breastfeeding Moms)
  • Pain Management
  • Skin Conditions (eczema, acne)
