Why Are Men's Health Medications Compounded?

Men’s Health medications are compounded for a variety of reasons, one being that most available medications come in limited dosages and forms that may not be right for your body and goals. Especially when dealing with hormone levels, allergies/sensitivities, and specific needs such as hair loss, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone levels, weight loss etc., it’s important to have a personalized dosage form that works for you.

What Conditions Do We Compound For?

We compound medications for a variety of men’s health conditions. Some of the more prevalent conditions include:

  • Low Testosterone (aka Low T): Compounded testosterone can be formulated in various dosages and forms to improve symptoms like fatigue, low libido, and erectile dysfunction.
  • Erectile Dysfunction (ED): By compounding, we can combine different medications used for ED treatment into one dose for improved convenience and potentially better results.
  • Premature Ejaculation (PE): Certain compounded medications can be formulated to help manage PE by prolonging ejaculation time.
  • Hair Loss: Compounded topical medications can combine ingredients to potentially help reduce male pattern baldness.
  • Fungal Infections: Compounded topical antifungals can be formulated for specific areas like the groin, or for jock itch.
  • Weight Loss: Our personalized approach to weight management focuses on optimizing your metabolic function through compounded medications and tailored dosing, potentially supporting your physician’s overall weight loss strategy.

Dosage Forms For Men's Health Medications

There are multiple dosage forms for your compounded men’s health medications, including:

  • Capsules & Tablets: Discreet and convenient, providing targeted medication.
  • Topical Creams & Gels: Easy application, often for localized conditions and unique application for systemic needs in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
  • Injectables: Improved absorption and or ability to decrease daily dosing of certain medications with an injectable formulation.
  • Suppositories: Bypass the digestive system for faster absorption.
