What Is BHRT?

BHRT stands for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy.

It’s a type of hormone therapy that uses hormones structurally identical to the ones naturally produced in the human body such as estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, etc. This treatment is often used for an extended period, sometimes indefinitely, to maintain hormonal balance throughout the body.

What Does BHRT Help With?

Hormonal imbalance can impact your quality of life in many ways. BHRT may help alleviate a range of symptoms in both men and women, including:

Women: Hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, low libido, mood swings, sleep disturbances, irregular periods, memory problems, weight gain and symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause.

Men: Low testosterone levels leading to fatigue, decreased libido, increased body fat, sleep disturbances, memory issues, muscle loss, erectile dysfunction, and mood changes.

Dosage Forms For BHRT

  • Topical Creams & Gels: Applied directly to the skin for easy absorption.
  • Lozenges: Dissolved under the tongue for rapid absorption.
  • Oral Capsules: Convenient and easy to take.
  • Vaginal Creams & Suppositories: Designed specifically for addressing vaginal dryness and other symptoms related to hormonal imbalance.
