Compounding Pharmacy Director

Dr. Patel is the Director of Compounding at Avrio Pharmacy. He also serves as an educational preceptor for pharmacy students at University of Arizona and Midwestern University. Since completing his doctorate in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy in 2013, he has sought to develop expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding for hormone replacement therapy, dermatology, and men’s health. His experiences also extend to veterinary pharmacy with a specialization in developing unique dosage forms for animals.

Gelila is a native of Southern California and graduated from Midwestern Pharmacy School in Glendale, AZ in 2018.
